From mountain passion to operations software
Turizi was born in San Carlos de Bariloche, Argentina, surrounded by the lakes and peaks of Patagonia. Ivan Roth, a software developer with over 20 years of experience, is the founder and sole engineer. Between rock climbing in Frey and skiing down Cerro Catedral, Ivan experienced first-hand the complexity of coordinating logistics in mountain resort regions.
Noticing how local travel agencies and transport providers relied on endless Excel sheets and fragmented WhatsApp groups, he decided to channel his experience into building a system to simplify travel operations from end to end, facilitating multi-provider assignments and block allotment management.
The Engineer Behind the Code
Ivan Roth is a software engineer with two decades of professional experience (including INVAP, Argentina's prestigious state-owned technology firm). An absolute fan of mountain sports, he splits his days between Patagonian peaks and engineering Turizi.
